Recent SoftDevice versions support non-connectable advertising down to 20 ms.

from what I know, Bluetooth SIG had reduced the allowed minimum adv interval from 100ms to 20ms for non-connectable advertising. But I am not sure though if this is supported by Bluetooth-5 compliant softdevices.

another option i can think of is to try add a dummy whitelist for softdevice to filter the connect reuqest.

Thank you for the reply. I have to add that for my application it is important to use advertising intervals in the order of 20 ms, while, according to the BLE specification the minimum non-connectable advertising interval is 100 ms. I have updated the main question with this clarification.

how about you use non-connectable advertising when you don't want to be connected to then transition to use connectable advertising once you are open for connection.
