Hello Jan and Karl, thank you for your support. I finally got my device connected to Edgeimpulse. Actually there was problem with the JLink UART driver I have updated the v7 it is working now.

Hello,

It sounds like you will need to recover your device due to the read protection.
You will need to do this from the command line, using nrfjprog.

nrfjprog --recover --coprocessor CP_NETWORK
nrfjprog --recover

Please do this, and let us know if you then are able to open the device in the nRF Connect programmer.

Maybe the device is locked or in recovery mode or something, I've seen it sometimes, you can unlock with nrfjprog (it'll tell you in thsi case). Unfortunately I don't know how this is done in nRF Connect.

I have tried nRF programmer from nRF Connect but I get error "Unsupported device. The detected device could not be recognized as neither JLink device nor Nordic USB device." Why it is so.

Yes I have used the firmware from https://cdn.edgeimpulse.com/firmware/nrf5340-dk.zip. But it is not working!

Hi tim3in, this is not running the right firmware then. Are you grabbing the firmware from https://docs.edgeimpulse.com/docs/nordic-semi-nrf5340-dk ? It should print:

Hi Jan, thanks for reply. I followed your instructions but still not able to connect. I do not see anything on serial terminal on COM8 or even COM6 but on COM7 I can see following o/p

There is no FAIL.txt file on JLINK folder. I have used the firmware from https://cdn.edgeimpulse.com/firmware/nrf5340-dk.zip.

Hi Tim, based on what I see locally you always want the last COM port (so COM8 here). Does that work? Alternatively if you open a serial monitor on COM8 at baud rate 115,200 and reset the board, do you see anything printed?

There have been some cases of the nRF5340-DK not flashing properly via drag&drop (FAIL.txt on the target afterwards), so would be good to verify that that part actually went OK.
