I've developed a PJT that works properly on nrf52832. Now I'm trying to migrate it to PCA10056 for USB developement.
Several attempts have been made but problem occurs more or less.
This project contains 2 spi, 1 twim, GPIOTEs and 1 ADC and

RE: Transferring 52832 PJT to 52840

Yes, if you cut/solder the solder bridges as described in the linked page, the pins can be repurposed for other uses.

RE: Transferring 52832 PJT to 52840

Thanks Jorgen!

All the pins you mention are (potentially) used by other modules on the nRF52840 DK:

P0.05 is used as RTS pin for the UART interface to the interface MCU's Virtual COM port

P0.10 is one of the NFC tag antenna pins

P0.21-P0.22 are part of the interface to the External memory QSPI flash chip. These pins are by default disconnected from the pin headers on the DK.

Best regards,
Jørgen

RE: Transferring 52832 PJT to 52840

I switched peripheral pin ports and it works well.

But I'm still confused why previous pins won't work...P0.05 to P0.10, P0.21 and P0.22 can be used as GPIO according to datasheet(did these pins involved in extra circuit on DK? Cause I already avoided GPIOs who have been commited as buttons DK such as P0.11, P0.25).

Thanks

RE: Transferring 52832 PJT to 52840

Additionally, I integrate WDT with BLE and USB. The USB COM cannot be detected until USB data start transferring, then the BLE can be connected without being reset by watchdog. On the other hand, if I just do USB_init and don"t output any data from USB, then the system will reset after 2S(WDT timeout)...
