So have you verified that the correct transactions are happening on the wires?

Have you carefully verified the commands sequence against the slave's documentation ?

Is the slave responding at all?

I done initialization according to max30102 datasheet and i2c works fine. But when i read IR and Red led register value, it gives zero.

Hi there,

What steps have you done so far during debugging? Do you see any activity on the SCL and SDA line? Does it match with what you expected?
