I recently encountered a problem while developing the program of nRF52833.My program is developed on the basis of nRF5SDK 16.0, using S140 softdevice.I modified the PHY of the two programs ble_uart and ble_uart_c to LongRange mode

RE: nRF52833 has an error in LongRange mode:NRF_LOG_ERROR("SOFTDEVICE: ASSERTION FAILED")

Hi

There are a few other changes that are necessary when enabling the Coded PHY in an example using the Uncoded PHY(s). My colleague Vidar modified the ble_app_uart and ble_app_uart_c examples to use Coded PHY by default in this case, so you can use that for reference.

Keep in mind that the advertising data flags (init.advdata.flags) must be set to BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_GENERAL_DISC_MODE, which I think was missed in Vidar's example if my memory serves me correctly.

Best regards,

Simon
