Hello,

The issue has been assigned to the team, but I'm not able to give you a timeline for a fix yet. In the meantime you may downgrade to v1.4.8 or use nrfjprog from the command line.

To downgrade, you have to install the old release as a local app. The old version is available here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/.pc-tools/nrfconnect-apps/pc-nrfconnect-programmer-1.4.8.tgz

Edit: version 1.4.11 with the fix was released just now.

Hello,

A new programmer version has been released but unfortunately, error is still present on my side.

Do you know when that issue will be resolved or do you know how to dowgrade the version used?

Hi all, Thanks for the reports! I was able to reproduce it now. Turns out I needed to use a standalone J-link as the on-board J-link used on the development boards does not appear to be affected by this issue. The team responsible for this release is looking into this now.

I have been facing the same issue after update to 1.4.9. nrf connect programmer.

NRFgo studio works fine for erasing and updating firmware.

I checked NRF connect programmer 1.4.7 and it was working alright with no issues with erasing and updating.

Hello,

We saw the same issue (

Error: Error occured when program. Errorcode: CouldNotCallFunction (0x9) Lowlevel error: INVALID_PARAMETER (fffffffd)) while erasing our nordic (NRF52840).

Issue occurs after having upgraded Programmer to 1.4.9

How can we downgrade the programmer version in order to have a system working correctly?

nRFjprog works without issues (erase and program), on nRF52840 and nRF52832.

Like Hady, this mistake appears after updating nrf progammer to v1.4.9 version.

I was able to use nrfjprog with no issues (mainly eraseall and program commands). The issue only happened after updating to v1.4.9 of the programmer.

Could you please try the same with nrfjrpog (Programming SoCs with nrfjprog) instead of the programmer app to see if it gives the same result? Also, did you start to see this issue only after you update to v1.4.9 of the programmer app? I have not managed to replicate the error on my side.

Seeing the same issue on nrf52832 chip with

nRF connect v3.6.1
nRF programmer v1.4.9
Jlink software v6.88 and 7.22

Looking forward for an answer.
