Hi...I have been having brain spins on the company identifier and if somebody can help. I want to make the changes to NRF beacon app - github.com/.../Android-nRF-Beacon to include the company identifier for the NRF51822 beacon as 004C (Apple). the developer simply states that you can make changes to the company identifier without specifying where and how? Which file to change? It's a small change to make the NRF Beacon app discover apple company based iBEAcONS but where to make the change in the downloaded files of the NRF beacon app?/?

I know that it's free. But, Only because they are said to be another Bluetooth Module may be used.

I can't speak for Nordic and reusing their company identifier. I was just wondering why you don't join the SIG as an adopter and request an identifier? It's free!
