It should be able to connect automatically to a device running the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.0.2/ble_sdk_app_hrs.html"&gt;Heart Rate service example&lt;/a&gt; for instance, or you could modify it to connect to any device with the Heart Rate service at all.&lt;/p&gt;
