For the EnOcean switch translator client example setup, you need at least 2 DKs. More specifically you need:

one nRF52 DK for the translator client

one or more nRF52 DK for the light servers

one provisioner (either a mobile phone with the nRF Mesh app, or a DK)

one EnOcean switch

What we refer to as the "EnOcean switch" is an energy harvesting switch from EnOcean. We have an example in our SDK that showcases how to integrate such a switch with a Bluetooth mesh network. That example is only relevant if you do have an EnOcean switch that you want to integrate with a Bluetooth mesh network.

If you do not have such a switch, then you should have a look at the Light switch example which only uses our development hardware.

The EnOcean switch has an NFC interface for setting various settings, and one of those settings are used to disable radio-based commissioning (also known as DISABLE LRN TELEGRAM.) If this setting is set to 1 then the example will not work. See the user manual for the EnOcean switch for details, you find it at the same page as you find the data sheet: https://www.enocean.com/en/products/enocean_modules_24ghz_ble/ptm-215b/

If you have not done anything with the EnOcean switch before, then this setting is already OK because the default setting from the factory is the correct setting for this example to work. In that case it should be safe to just ignore the step.
