 I am using NCS (as suggested) to avoid high current consumption happening during softdevice initialization.

You can try to use NCS v1.6.0-rc2 tag. It does not use the softdevice RNG lib. I did some measurements here now and I only see the ~5ms CPU startup run current, and then clean advertising packets.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
