I have modified the prj.conf and CMakeLists.txt file but now I am getting the error <can't reload CMake Project>. Please find the attached screenshot of the same.

Hi, have you made sure to enable to correct config (CONFIG_SPI) in the prj.conf file?

If you use the Toolchain Manager application in nRF Connect for Desktop to open up SES Nordic Edition, then all the paths will be set automatically.

I'm not sure what you mean by this? These files should be in the application directory.

Thank you for reply ! I tried an example code for setting up spi for nrf 9160 but it is showing error that spi.h no such file or directory. I have kept the spi.h file in include and lib folders but still it is showing the error. I am using segger embedded studio (nordic edition). Could you please tell me how to set up the library path and preprocessor option is not showing in the project option. One more doubt is there that where could I find the CMakeLists.txt, prj.conf files and we need to change those file ( add something ) for enabling spi . Thanks ....

Hi!

You can use the SPI driver available in Zephyr (see Peripherals: SPI) to set up SPI communication. Unfortunately, we don't have any out-of-box SPI samples in NCS.

The closest I can find is the spi_fujitsu_fram sample which specifically shows how to set up SPI communication with the Fujitsu MB85RS64V FRAM.
