I'm also from india .me also don't know how to get an nb-iot sim and connect in cloud for nRF semiconductor and work.so can you share your experience how did you solved this issue

All modern SIM cards support operating voltages of 1.8V.

No, that is not possible. You have to use a Nb-IoT (or LTE-M if supported) SIM card with the nRF9160.

Hello Anandu,

yes, you can use any IoT SIM card you like as long as it meets the SIM card interface requirements and the provider has a proper agreement with the network operator(s) the device is supposed to connect to.
