&lt;p&gt;The 12pF capacitors on pin P0.25 and P0.26 are a workaround for&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/errata_nRF52832_Rev2/ERR/nRF52832/Rev2/latest/anomaly_832_138.html?cp=4_2_1_0_1_35"&gt;errata [138]&lt;/a&gt;, they are used to fix the spurious emissions on the GPIO lines. If the pins are not needed for GPIO, it is more effective to short the pins to ground directly.&lt;/p&gt;
