There exists an AT-Command Doc https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nrf91_at_commands_v1.0.pdf

or Youtube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jgImp7FBy8 starting with 27:03 will give you an impression how these commands works. An easy command is AT+CIMI ( SIM Card No.) .

Hope this will help and greetings from Germany and maybe in the next autumn/winter season I will have time to improve my Thingy/Nrf9160 knowledge.

Do you know if there is some type of commands I can post that will give me some feedback that the thingy91 is running correctly? I would like to see some kind of verification or status indicating that the thingy har the correct setup 🙂

I learned myself some weeks ago - that the I-Basis SIM Cards wre delivered with an limited validity. Caused me some headaches, but was relatively quick solved by I-Basis by an mail to Support iBasis <Support@ibasis.net> . Describe your problem stating the Thingy Sr. No. and date of manufacture and the data of your SIM card. 2 weeks later I received a new card from I-Basis - it worked immediately. In the meantime, I-Basis has recognized the problem with this limited validity and has certainly found a solution -> it should go faster. Whenever there is really a SIM card problem. Stay healthy
