How can this be resolved? Previously in SDK 1.9.1 it was possible to have CONFIG_LOG=n, but in SDK 2.0.0 this problem reappeared...

When I disable the log, CONFIG_LOG=n I get the same error mentioned in this ticket! C:\NordicSDK\v2.0.0\zephyr\include\zephyr\logging\log.h:296: undefined reference to `z_log_strdup'

Can having to keep the log active hurt memory consumption and optimization? Because the logs are going to be compiled... CONFIG_SERIAL=n does it solve the consumption issue?
