Hi,

First, a couple of questions just to make sure that I understand what is going on, and are not missing something:

What is in the ml_beacon folder?

Is ml_beacon_nrf52 a custom board? Where is the board folder?

Do you see the same error if you manually delete the build folder (or specify a different build folder with -d)?

What do you get if you run 'echo %ZEPHYR_BASE%'?

If deleting or changing the build directory doesn't work, you can select the toolchain manually by adding a CMake flag to the build command:
west build ... – -DNCS_TOOLCHAIN_VERSION=1.5.0
