Sorry this is a basic question and I shouldn't be bothering you with this but I have already dealt with a number of issues with Segger so I couldn't resist. - I have been using ble_app_hrs_freertos_pca10056_s140.emProject for my project except

RE: Segger can't recognize the emPro file that's being opened in the solution.
Yes, this is possible. The emProject file is basically an XML file, and as such it is editable in any text editor.

If you open it you can spot the include directories and source files quite easily, and normally it is sufficient to do a search/replace all operation to replace all the path names with a different path.

Best regards
Torbjørn

RE: Segger can't recognize the emPro file that's being opened in the solution. So we can modify the paths the project references to inside the emProject file. I haven't tried it yet since it's working fine for now but if you can confirm this info, I shall be thankful!

RE: Segger can't recognize the emPro file that's being opened in the solution.
If you open the emProject file in a text editor you can more easily see all the folders being referenced, and whether or not they are relative or absolute folder references.

Are you able to share your emProject file with me so I can have a look at it?

If you want I can make this case private, in case you don't want to share your project files in a public case.

I still can't understand how my current project's emPro file seems to be dependent on this X project cause if I remove that, it says it won't open the project since this X project is missing.

RE: Segger can't recognize the emPro file that's being opened in the solution.
Did you put the example in a different folder after you cloned it?

Many of the paths in the SES project files are relative, and if you put the example in a different folder level they will fail.

For instance it is fine to move a project from one of the example subfolders to another, but if you move an example up or down a level it won't work.
