i have created custom BLE service/characteristic using this ling https://github.com/NordicPlayground/nRF5x-custom-ble-service-tutorial

Thanks for the update.

In this service it is the ble_cus_custom_value_update(ble_cus_t * p_cus, uint8_t custom_value) function that is used to send an update from the server in the peripheral to the client on the phone side.

As noted in the comments it is necessary for the client (phone) to enable notification on the characteristic in order for it to receive notifications.

When using the nRF Connect mobile app you enable notifications by clicking the three arrow symbol on the characteristic in question.

Thanks for the response....

I am using SDK 15.3.0 , MCU nrf52810

So as i already said i have created service and characteristics using the above git hub link

any way ill share my code

You don't need a physical UART to use the uart service. It is just a service for sending strings of varying lengths from the peripheral to the central, and vice versa.

When you use the uart service you have a function for sending data called ble_nus_data_send:

uint16_t length = (uint16_t)index;
err_code = ble_nus_data_send(&m_nus, data_array, &length, m_conn_handle);

    (err_code != NRF_ERROR_NOT_FOUND))
{
    APP_ERROR_CHECK(err_code);
}

Your service implementation should have something similar.

Can you send me the source code for your service?
Then I will take a look and see if I can find this function.
