I am using NRF52840 and I want to keep updating a timestamp number into flash memory. My solution is to create a file and keep updating that single file.
Is there any shorcomings if I keep updating that one single file? Will it damage

RE: When using FDS, does it matter if I keep update one single file?

Hi,

It's perfectly fine to reuse the same File ID. It's just and ID that can be used for lookup/event filtering. It does not impact how or where the data records get stored to flash by FDS.

Best regards,
