&lt;p&gt;It shouldn&amp;#39;t fail, but please check. You should also make sure that the pin is not set higher than VDD+0.3V in your board.&lt;/p&gt;

In this case, do I have to check the sense state of the gpio before going in the SYSTEM OFF state? Maybe taking advantage of the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I would suggest logging the state of the button before going to system off to make sure that it is correctly configured as a wake up button every time, as the most likely issue is that the configuration of the wake up button fails sometimes. It should not have anything to do with the presence of the bootloader to my knowledge.&lt;/p&gt;
