It&#39;s because if we allow that an attacker can spoof that it&#39;s the central and that the central has lost bonding. By doing that he can replace the central and remove the bond information in the peripheral. So it&#39;s the best if you have a physical button to erase bond on the device so that it can have a new bond with the central.&nbsp;</p> <p><br />However if you want to allow re-bonding /re-pairing, it&#39;s possible to do so. You would need to add&nbsp;PM_EVT_CONN_SEC_CONFIG_REQ event handling inside&nbsp;pm_evt_handler to return&nbsp;allow_repairing = true.
