&lt;p&gt;Our hardware does not support sending only the address. It is only possible to send address + data.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Would you be able to share the datasheet of the device you are communicating with?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thank you for the request. Could you please provide some more context, like how does your system crash and which chip you are communicating with? Would you be able to share your overlay file?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do you have access to a logic analyzer, or do you have any recordings from a scope available?&lt;/p&gt;
