We only support update of the main application at the moment. As mentioned in my previous response, bootloader updates were not supported due to limitations with the current DFU protocol.

Hello,

All 52 variants support DFU provided you have enough flash for the secondary slot. The reason bootloader updates are not supported is that the DFU protocol currently lacks a mechanism to differentiate between bootloader and application updates.

I have build without t'-Db0_CONF_FILE=prj_minimal.conf', it works fine.

I will test dfu according to your instructions. Can you tell me which devices are currently supported by dfu? and why DFU of the bootloader itself is currently not supported on the 52 series.

Hello,

It seems like the prj_minimal.conf file is not allocating enough flash to the immutable bootloader. Did you try to build without '-Db0_CONF_FILE=prj_minimal.conf'?

To test DFU I suggest you start with the SMP server example mentioned here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/ug_nrf52.html#fota-upgrades. And please note that DFU of the bootloader itself is currently not supported on the 52 series.
