You are right, I thought the antenna was external, but with an internal antenna you should be fine on that part, so the problem has to be somewhere else. Have you tried this with multiple cards, or tried changing the crystal?

Thank you for your quick replies.

This is the layout for the BLE module. As I mentioned, I still believe the RF matching is internally done in the SoC as mentioned in the block diagram and datasheet

Yes, the antenna should be tuned externally as well. Have a look at the blogpost on General PCB design guidelines for nRF51 as well as the white paper on antenna tuning.

Hi,

I believe that antenna tuning is in-built with the ISP130301 BLE module.

Do you suggest to tune the antenna externally?

Could you provide a picture of your layout? Alternatively if you do not want to share this publicly you can open a MyPage support ticket.

Have you matched your radio components? What frequency does your antenna resonate at?
