&lt;p&gt;The object transfer service is great for sending large amounts of data. We also have&lt;a href="https://github.com/NordicPlayground/nrf52-ble-image-transfer-demo"&gt; this ble-image-transfer-demo&lt;/a&gt; on Github showing how you can capture and send a large file (like a JPG image) over BLE to a phone. The android app used can be &lt;a href="https://github.com/NordicPlayground/Android-Image-Transfer-Demo"&gt;found here.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
