You're using a module right? My guess is that something else on the PCB is consuming the extra current. Could you share your schematic?

i have gotten power profiler kit 2. I have nrf52840 dk. I had built and run ble_App_beacon code from sdk_17. I wan to view the current consumption for this code. I have see the vedio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDIcGe2Wz2E 31:51 but my current consumption is coming different and the power profiler kit steps they have used dont show the connections done. pls assist

I've already pointed out both a starting point for code and a tool that can be used to evaluate the code with regards to power.

It's pretty straightforward. You just fill inn the details regarding what chip, advertising interval. clock configuration etc that you're using and you'll get the estimated current consumption.

Hi,

You can use the beacon example from the SDK. In addition you should use the online power profiler app to estimate the current consumption, and see how it change when you tweak the different parameters such as advertising interval and regulator configuration.
