&lt;p&gt;This is the feedback I got from one of the designers:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:30px;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&amp;quot;I expect it to be OK with another IO for CSN, but we haven&amp;#39;t done timing analysis for this case. As for all high-speed interface signals the recommendation is also for CSN to keep PCB traces as short as possible.&amp;quot;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;So yes, it will probably be fine if you select another pin for the CSN. &lt;/p&gt;
