&lt;p&gt;This is most likely due to the Dongle already being programmed with some other firmware. Try pressing the small grey button on the side of the Dongle to put it back into the bootloader mode. Then you should be able to open the device with BLE and be prompted to program the device with the correct application. You might get disconnected after this application has been flashed, but you should be able to connect again and then use the BLE application as intended.&lt;/p&gt;
