I installed NCS v1.6.1 and tried out AGPS sample for it as well but I received same error as I had for AGPS sample in NCS 1.5.1.

I noticed the radio module on the nRF9160_DK (v1.0.0) that I received couple of months ago was running firmware "mfw_nrf9160_1.2.3". I updated modem firmware to "mfw_nrf9160_1.3.0" and immediately I was able to make AGS example work with longer interval timer.

So there is some dependency of GPS interval timer in AGPS sample with the modem firmware. Now I am able to set longer interval timer with modem fw v1.3.0.

Just out of curiosity: could you check if you are running into the same issue on NCS v1.6.1?

Hi Markus,

I was not able to find any upper limit as well and compilation is not throwing any warning. I am using NCS v1.5.1. I am attaching few screenshots and output of the project build. Screenshots and build out out is when I try interval for 3600 seconds. By trials I figured for any interval value above 1800 seconds, I am seeing "Failed to set fix interval value" on the logout at run time.

Hello Pritesh,

The documentation does not mention any upper limit more than the maximum value of uint32 and I’m not able to reproduce the error you are getting neither. I have tested with both NCS v1.5.1 and 1.6.1 and this is what my applications logs show:

Are you getting any warning during compilation that might point towards the issue maybe?
