&lt;p&gt;I was using NCS version v1.4.0 but I updated to v1.6.1 and tried again with the same result.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I use the SES. I was trying with the application sample. When I try to download the network sample I get the following error in SES output:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) Failed to Download application&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2) Error during programm/erase phase&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3) Please check Jlink-target connection&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4) Illegal value 0x210052E8 written to register 66 (MSP_NS) ignored&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Previously, when loading the app sample of peripheral_lbs there was no change in the status of the DK. The LED didn&amp;#39;t start blinking.&lt;/p&gt;
