I am trying to use mkit as programmer by P20
FOR third part BLE brd
VDD---mkit.vdd
GND--mkit.gnd
SWD--P20.4
SWC--P20.5
bisides, for
P20.3(SH_VTG) connected to mkit.vdd
P20.8(SH_GND-DETECT) connected to mkt.gnd
those two pins are used

RE: mkit use debug out P20 program standalone third part brd

hi,jjww: P20 is OK ?? all the information is about using P19, the interface of P19 is so small. so it had better use P20 for program or debug external board

RE: mkit use debug out P20 program standalone third part brd

The chip is NRF51822

Seems the problem is either P19 or P20, does not detect external brd. The ibeacon brd does not have the 6-pin header, which cause $40.. it is crazy... I have not figure out how to program it yet since the solder pad there already melt by mis-operation.

RE: mkit use debug out P20 program standalone third part brd

Hi,

Please see this blog post on programming the beacon kit with the nRF51 DK, it describes what you want to do. Be aware that we do not support programming third party chips(non-Nordic) with the DK.

Best regards,
