You must use the bt_le_ext_* functions to use start advertising on CODED PHY like in the Peripheral Heart Rate Monitor with Coded PHY sample. The bt_le_adv_start() function can only be used with legacy advertising.

I can see that you're using the same adv. parameters. Have you tried the Peripheral Heart Rate Monitor with Coded PHY sample to see if it gives the same error?

Hello,

The adv. params appear to be identical to the paramaters used in the Peripheral Heart Rate Monitor with Coded PHY. Are you also using the same bt_le_ext_adv_* APIs?
