We are using nRF connect SDK for developing the BLE Mesh application.
We want to use a sample application and modify the folder structure based on our requirements,
the sample application will be the base firmware of our workspace on which we

RE: nRF Connect SDK defining folder structure & files modifications

Hi,

I recommend taking a look at this tutorial for how to setup you own project and the section about "User workflow" for the recommended workflow when working with your own project:

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/nrf-connect-sdk-guides/b/getting-started/posts/nrf-connect-sdk-tutorial---part-2-ncs-v1-4-0#h9sk6ks6tc4is01y9hxcklg213dvt

Changing the folder structure inside Segger Embedded Studio will not change the project folder structure in path.

Best regards,

please find attached the image,

In the sample chat application, I merged another sample application we added the required files add using existing files to CMakeLists.txt / add new files to CMakeLists.txt, as you can see in the image attached all files of different projects are added but we need to organize them in a proper folder structure.

but here we need more flexibility in creating multiple folder structures after adding there is the option of the new folder, but it is disabled, can you please share how do we modify the nRF connect SDK workspace and add have a customized folder structure and proceed further with development.

Thank you,
