I had the same question. And I solved it. 'ARM.CMSIS.4.2.0' uses a new pack file format. It cannot be installed in MDK5.12 or earlier. But it can install in later versions. Download a Keil MDK later than 5.13 to support the new pack file format. If the new Keil MDK is preloaded with a CMSIS version higher than 4.2.0, you should manually download the 'ARM.CMSIS.4.2.0' from Keil websites. To use nRF52_SDK_0.9.0_0c82e3e, 'ARM.CMSIS.4.2.0' pack is required. Once 'ARM.CMSIS.4.2.0' is selected for the 'software packs', your problem should be fixed.

have you updated your Keil? I hope we will have newer SDK by the time you start your nRF52 work, I am not sure why it is this way for you. Only thing I can think is to clean install Keil and other tools. I have not heard any other problems in this aspect.

No. Its still not working. I dont know what else to try. For now Im working with the 51DK, but for further projects I need also the 52 DK

This is strange. do a clean 5.15 install then, make sure you remove all old revisions. There seems to be something mischievous with your current installed keil version.

try to remove 4.1.0 and install 4.2.0 from the link you mentioned. You do not need Keil 5.15 for CMSIS 4.2.0, you just need Keil 5.12 and above

But there is no 4.2.0 version. I have only 4.1.0 which i can remove and reinstall.

Go to the packs installer, remove and reinstall CMSIS 4.2.0
