&lt;p&gt;Windows can not handle too long file paths.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To fix this problem, move the folder application_update/ and common/ to a shallower directory, for example the ncs/ folder.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then use the &amp;quot;...&amp;quot; instead of projects drop-down menu to open this new project.&lt;/p&gt;
