I am running ble_app_beacon on nRF52 DK. To check functionality, I try with all power sources in turn, i.e. USB cable, battery and external source. Today I realized that only when supplying with external source, the board starts in the debugging

RE: Debugging Mode Only When Supplied With External Supply

My problem is resolved in this ticket.

RE: Debugging Mode Only When Supplied With External Supply

Hello Jared,

How do you determine that the chip inters debug mode when you use external supply versus the other configurations? Is it based only on the current draw?

regards

I am saying 'from time to time' because literally I just turn off the source then turn it back on. It either hits 100 mA, debugging mode or runs smoothly. In all of these cases, beacon package is successfully sent. I kept soldering and desoldering the bridges SB11, 12 and 29. I feel like I have caused a loose contact or short somewhere but I have checked all that comes to my mind, negative. I would be glad if someone could shed some light on this.
