We are programming our devices (nRF52833) in production using a Segger Flasher Portable PLUS.
We use reset after programming via SFR access.
Our devices will not run code after they are programmed until they are power cycled.
Even the reset

RE: Power cycle needed

Hi,

I haven't tried the specific flasher that you're using but I would assume that it acts as the other stand alone SEGGER debug probes when it's connected to a computer.

Normally you would use the program option of nrfjprog which will program a hex onto a nRF device. Such as:

nrfjprog --program ble_app_blinky_pca10040_s132.hex

where ble_app_blinky_pca10040_s132.hex is a prebuilt hex.

Could you try flashing a board with nrfjprog and see if acts the same?

regards

No I haven't tried it with nrfjprog. How do we go about using it that way?

Thanks Ian

RE: Power cycle needed

Hi there,

Are you using the Softdevice?

I see that the programmer can be used without a PC program, have you tried using it with nrfjprog? Does it behave the same?
