Hi, I flashed the project you posted on to a PCA10040 DK, without any changes, and I get 1.9 uA in idle between the advertising events. And after a while it enters system OFF mode consuming 300 nA. This is how the advertising looks with your code:

So I believe everything is fine with the code you are using.

May I ask how you connect the PPK2? And are you measuring on a DK or a custom board?

Hi Marjeris,

Could you please provide us your inputs for reducing power consumption? After testing our sample program which is attached by Vinay singh.

We have measured the consumption before sending you with PPK2, It was ~280uA. We need to achieve as minimum as possible.

I am sorry for the lack of reply. Could you attach your whole project folder as a zip file here so I can run it on my computer? I will need to take a look at how you are enabling sleep mode, the function idle_state_handle() is just a generic handle you can find in most of our examples, and most of the examples are not power optimized.

I went thorough this link before. I have doubt whether we are disabling the PWM before going to IDLE sleep mode. Could you please tell me how to make sure that?

Hi,

I am sorry I meant to ask if you had disable the log module, since it uses UART it will consume power. In the sdk_config.h file make sure these defines are set to 0:

#define NRF_LOG_ENABLED 0

#define NRF_LOG_DEFAULT_LEVEL 0

we haven't made any changes in sleep mode function (idle_state_handle()). we are using the same as in example codes.

We have enabled the log module!

Can you share the relevant code where you attempt to put the CPU to sleep?

Also have you checked if the log module is enabled?
