Hi, If you plan to use modem firmware 1.3.0 on your devices then you need B1(rev2) SiP.

The difference between BA(Engineering A), B0(rev1.0 - 1.2) and B1(rev2) you can find here in the development hardware. If you are planning on using BA then modem firmware(operator certificates) might be an issue since it is not supported by latest nrf connect SDK's.

When we open the datasheet of part number NRF9160-SICA-B1A-R from Digikey, the datasheet of version 2.0 opens. infocenter.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF9160_PS_v2.0.pdf

The datasheet of the product with part number NRF9160-SICA-R7 opens as V1.0. (infocenter.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF9160_PS_v1.0.pdf)
The PCB of our project is ready, but we cannot supply the NRF9160-SICA-B1A-R product. So we have to use part number NRF9160-SICA-R7. Could the differences I wrote in my first message cause us to get erroneous results in hardware?

How do you know its v0.7 ? From v1.0(first release) to v1.2 the ordering code was nRF9160-SICA-R7.

If you followed the layout guide for v2.0, then there are a couple of changes from the earlier version.

Do you plan to just change the SiP and keep the same HW layout design `?
