 I just switched from the GPS Library to the GNSS API. 
 The problem is, that we never get the timeout event NRF_MODEM_GNSS_EVT_SLEEP_AFTER_TIMEOUT . Basically the same problem as described here:

&lt;p&gt;I will have look at your case. Do you get any output from you application?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please note that &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.7.0/nrf/index.html"&gt;we have just released nRF Connect SDK (NCS) v1.7.0&lt;/a&gt;. In the release notes it states:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.7.0/nrf/drivers/gps.html#gps-api"&gt;&lt;span&gt;GPS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;driver has been deprecated in favor of the&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a title="(in nrfxlib v1.7.0)" href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.7.0/nrfxlib/nrf_modem/doc/gnss_interface.html#gnss-interface"&gt;&lt;span&gt;GNSS interface&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you please test the AGPS sample from the newest version of the SDK, which should use the newest GNSS interface.&lt;/p&gt;
