The missing pull-down was a product anomaly in one of our earlier chip revision, but you can see in the latest <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF51822/PAN-nRF51822/24634">Product Anomaly document</a> that the anomaly is fixed in QFACA10. You can also have a look at the <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF51-DK/nRF51-DK-HW/38675">nRF51 DK hardware files</a> and you will see that we don&#39;t use any external pull-down on the kit (the nRF51 DK ships with a QFACA1, same as your chip).</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
