&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve asked our expert on his opinion regarding the numbers that you provide. The response is that the spike frequency fits the refresh mode in PSM, which does look correct. However,&amp;nbsp;the numbers are&amp;nbsp;somewhat high. What equipment are you using to measure? Can you please check the results with multimeter connected to the current measurement header?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What version of the nRF9160DK are you using?&lt;/p&gt;

There should not be an issue using UDP sample on NB-IoT network. How long are you running the UDP sample when receiving&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;LTE cell changed: Cell ID: -1, Tracking area: -1 &lt;/em&gt;and how long are you running the Seral LTE Modem ? Can you provide full log from both samples running e.g. 30 minutes?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What network are you trying to connect? Are you using the iBasis SIM or have you tested with another? Please provide information on what NCS&amp;nbsp;version and modem FW version you are using, and can you please provide full logs from running the Serial LTE Modem executing &amp;quot;&lt;span style="font-family:&amp;#39;courier new&amp;#39;, courier;"&gt;AT+CFUN?&lt;/span&gt;&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you tested&amp;nbsp;with e.g. Asset Tracker?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank you!&lt;/p&gt;
