But generally from what i have seen it is preferable to connect to ground.

You can download the latest version of the nrf52832 here, and use it as reference.

Regards,
Jonathan

RE: nRF52832 custom board Able to upload code but it's not run internally after power-up board.

Thanks for Review in detail,

Yes I need to do more hardwork on layout and update PCB board based on guidline of nRF52 Document.

can you confirm please crystal is that correct and can i use 32 MHz ±10ppm Crystal 12pF 50 Ohms 4-SMD, No Lead P/N below ( I got issue of crystal pad we use 1 and 2 pad with OSC1 and OSC2 but its 1 and 3 pin)

https://www.digikey.in/en/products/detail/murata-electronics/XRCGB32M000F1S1DR0/14542537

That one crystal have pin 1 and 3 is crystal terminal and pin 2/4 is Not connected so is that ok ??

I will reupload soon after all changes done.

Thanks.

AB.

The antenna is placed in the middle of the board, with no keep-out area. It also does not have a transmission line that is a co-planar wave guide. And it is obstructed by other components on all side's.

2. The crystal is not properly grounded, and are you sure you have connected to the correct pads of the crystal?

3. There is no grounding vias on the center pad here, performance will not be ok.

In general the grounding is terrible, in the design as you have it now the ground loops will be very bad resulting in more noise and poor performance for both radio but also power delivery. The antenna should be placed in on corner or on one side of the pcb with no obstruction on at least 3 sides. I recommend that you follow the exact layout that is in the data sheet of the antenna.

You should fill both top layer and bottom layer with copper and use vias to stich the to layer together for bet ground.

I propose that you maybe try to use nrfjprog to talk to your device.

You can use commands like nrfjprog --program, --recover, -r, to program, recover/erase and reset the device.

Regards,
Jonathan

RE: nRF52832 custom board Able to upload code but it's not run internally after power-up board.

Hey, Jonathan.

Thanks for your replay.

Please find below PDF of complete project Schematic as well as Zip of Gerber file for pcb board layout.

can you suggest me what is exactly issue??

That is basically issue of clock or connection or anything else because As I test I am able to flash code with Segger but code not run internally as we expect after power up board or reset board.

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../MPU6050-with-nRF52840_5F00_Left-Hand.pdfdevzone.nordicsemi.com/.../1565.Gerber.zip

Also I have Another questation about nRF52832-QFAA chip SOIC.

--> nRF52832-QFAA is preloaded UART bootloader or we need to flash bootloader using Segger or anything else platform??

RE: nRF52832 custom board Able to upload code but it's not run internally after power-up board.

Hi,

Have you asked the Arduino forum how to add extra boards to the Arduino IDE.
