We elected not to use a trace antenna yet. You shouldn&#39;t bet on any more than 100 meters in an outdoor environment with PCB dipole antennas. Theoretically the maximum is slightly further than that, but if I were designing something I wouldn&#39;t plan on more than 10 meters to be honest.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
