In the video that was just posted about the nPM1100 EK it is stated (at 1:18) that the battery charger of the nPM1100 must be used with batteries of a size less than 500mAh:

The closest I can find to this statement in the infocenter is

RE: nPM1100 Maximum Battery Capacity 500mAh?

Hi Richard,

The nPM11000 has an adjustable charge current from 20mA to 400mA. There is no maximum battery size but more a recommendation due to the charging rate and user experience.

Usually you want to charge a battery with 1C or a bit lower, it means the charge current in mA match the capacity in mAh, and you use approx 1 hour to go from empty to full battery. Smaller batteries are commonly rated at 1C rating. You will generally find the C rate of your battery on it's label and on the battery datasheet.

You are of course free to use the nPM1100 with as big as a battery as you want, but since the charger current is limited to 400mA, a 800mAh battery willl for instance take 2 hours to charge from 0-100%, a 1200mA battery will use approx. 3 hours, and so on...

Best regards,
