See this thread, this issue is caused by iOS remembering the service for the previous application.

we are not using any SDK, we used the sample code available from nRF51822 Beacon v1.1.0 and built our application around it.

Which SDK version are you using and which bootloader?

@Øyvind Karlsen I tried downloading the sample zip file that comes along with the nrf Toolbox application and that didn't work too. Used - SD 7.1.0

The above problem occurs only with IPhone and IOS. This behaviour was not observed in Android
