Maybe this is causing the &amp;quot;&lt;span&gt;Blocked misaligned 1-byte SFR write access&amp;quot;&lt;/span&gt;. Using IAR flash loader seems to work! When ticking the box I am able to download and debug without errors.&lt;/p&gt;

So you will need to use either 7, or possible 8 with the described workaround.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you are not able to use IAR 7 or 8, then I suggest to look into using Segger Embedded STudio (SES) instead as an alternative. There is a free commercial license when developing projects with SES and nRF products.&lt;/p&gt;
