The iPhone will filter out beacon applications so you need to configure your device as something else, for example you can try the heart rate application, that should be visible.

I just have here a BLE button named CODAWheel (from CODA) and I can see it in both Android and iOS without a specific app!I For example I can pair it in the "setting" window and than use it with my app!! Do you know how can I do the same?

No, it describes how you can be able to see it in the master control panel app.

Yes, you will have to use an app to discover such devices, atleast until you have set up services and the correct broadcasting information.

Hi, thanks for your reply, with the application I can see mine device; but i can't see the board on bluetooth setting; I have read that " iOS devices will not show BLE devices in the Bluetooth Settings, so you have to use an app to be able to discover such devices"!! is true?!

Hi,

To be able to see your nRF51 DK on an iPhone you have to have set up some service that can be recognized by the OS. If you have not made a service yet, you can download the nRF toolbox app or similar apps to see your device.

See the tutorial on BLE advertising for help on usage.
