we are not able to see any output in NRF connect APP in FFBM mode with DTM Firmware,
However , on flashing complete firmware, we are able to turn on Beeper in FFBM mode.
Also, with the same setup and same DTM firmware , we are able to get

RE: To test continuous TX @ fixed frequency for factory testing

I do not understand what modes you are referring to. The DTM tool in nRF Connect will be able to receive radio packets that is pre-configured according the DTM described in Bluetooth core specification, with the modulation specified by Bluetooth core specification. If the packet format or modulation differ from Bluetooth core specification it will not be received.

Please check the link below:

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/76668/entering-dtm-mode-to-test-continuous-tx-fixed-frequency-for-factory-testing

we are doing the same procedure in FFBM mode,

From Bootloader a device can BOOT to Android mode or FFBM mode or any other mode,

In the above link ticket, we were able to see TX power output in Android mode, same we are trying n FFBM mode and it is failing.

what could be the reason.

You can find an example here how you can for instance use two nRF52-DK in DTM mode:
https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/71296/rx-sensitivity-test-s2-and-s8-on-dut-2-dut-mode/293412#293412
