Our customer uses NRF52832 to develop a computer remote control pen. They are based on the keyboard example in the 15.3.0 SDK. Now they encounter some problems:
1.The pen actively deletes the pairing information and enters the pairing state again. At this time, if the pen is not deleted from the Bluetooth pairing list of the win10 system, the pairing connection cannot be completed.
If the pen is not storing the pairing / bonding information in between connections then there is no other alternative for the central than to delete the information it has stored about the device and re-do the pairing. There is no other way to do this, since that would jeopardize the security of the stored link information (if there was a way to recover without deleting the information and re-pairing).
If you were to fix this on the pen-side of things you would have to update the pen firmware so that it stores the pairing / bonding information in between connections. This is the only way to fix this - if it is not done you will have to delete the information and re-pair every connection.
These problems will only appear in the win 10 2004H version, and are normal in the 1809H version.
The fact that this changed from one Windows version to another makes me suspect that it is primarily a windows-side issue, rather than an issue with the pen.
I would therefore suggest that you open an issue about this in the Windows' support forums, to ask what they might have changed on their end of it in between these two versions.

Best regards,
Karl
